Julia is one of the few who can put a Palme d’Or nomination on her resume.

Julia thrives on unconventional ideas, bold messages, and visual simplicity. She loves getting involved early—maybe even before you have started. Writing and copy are her second nature. With warmth, a sharp eye, and unwavering energy, Julia approaches every project—whether big or small—with the same level of commitment and care.

Julia has been nominated for and has won several prestigious awards for her short films. Notably, Push It was nominated for the Palme d’Or for short films at the Cannes Film Festival, and she won the Startsladden Audience Award for Sorry Not Sorry at the Göteborg Film Festival in 2019.
Also, she has won Filmstaden's Campaign of the Month twice for her commercials for Polarn O. Pyret.

Most recently, Julia directed her first feature film, Mecenaten.
