Director Julia Thelin’s debut feature Mecenaten premieres at the Göteborg Film Festival and is nominated for the Nordic Competition Award and the Angelos Film Prize.

Julia Thelin is known for sharp storytelling, fearless ideas, and visual precision. Her short film Push It was nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, and she has received multiple prestigious awards for her work, making Mecenaten a highly anticipated feature debut.
Mecenaten premieres January 24 at Biograf Draken.
